4X WCMA Nominee Arlo Maverick is a thought-provoking lyricist whose sound incorporates Soul, Jazz and Afrobeats with Hip-Hop to move his fans physically and emotionally. Stepping away from hip-hop’s tradition of just an MC and DJ, the Edmonton native incorporates this hip-hop staple with a live band. Arlo’s live show, which he describes as a symbiotic exchange, has opened doors for him to headline festivals, open for hip-hop icons, garner press, receive campus radio support and travel overseas.
Arlo is currently promoting his new album, Blue Collar – a social commentary on the challenges of the working class.
